Here’s the truth: my goal has never been to be a writer. Surprised? Keep reading.
I’ve tried writing for the sake of writing, and I’ve learned from it that there are plenty of things you and I are capable of doing that aren’t necessarily the things we are designed to do. I’m capable of writing about anything and everything. But…
To me, writing is a passion, a creative expression, a form of worship. Words are paintbrushes and arrows and safe arrivals. No, my goal has never been to be a writer. Instead, my writing is a trusted friend who knows what to say as I pursue the goal of you.
Yes, you.
I am your encourager. I secure road signs with a hammer of vibrant hope and clear the debris so they can be seen. I walk and keep walking. Cheer and keep cheering. You see, I believe that you are hand-crafted by God for a life that is rich and vibrant and filled with stories. That’s why I invest, and dive deep to remind you of how beautifully you are designed.
Consider my writing an ongoing conversation about life and love and what a powerful thing it is to be fully human, yet still the image and likeness of our Creator.
I cherish most the stories that I witness being written in the lives of women who long to restore the breaches around them. God holds the pen in those stories, “That one—I hold her. And that one—she is My delight. And that one—never snatched away.” I share those stories with you—because those stories will be your story too, and I can’t wait to celebrate your story with the world.
I am a mouthpiece of celebration for women. Redemption is our theme. Your story is my goal, love, and I will joyfully write it.
